And we have hope again...INJECTABLES!

Well our last cycle was a bust as you can most likely tell from the title of this entry. HOWEVER, we had another consultation with our RE and he has a great nack for inspiring us and making us feel that there is hope. He told us that we WILL be pregnant THIS year...no doubt about it. We have done Clomid now for 4 cycles and he said that that is enough. He said that the Clomid could be causing side effects (other than those that we are all aware of: modd swings, hot flashes, etc.) He said that it could be causing the eggs not to fertilize or not to implant or any number of other side effects of which we may not be aware. We are on to Gonal-F....the injectables! He said we will try two cycles with timed intercourse and then a couple of cycles with IUI. He seems to have no doubt that we will get pregnant very soon. We are both are excited and our hope is renewed....once again. I do want to ask them to do another sperm count as I have concerns that DH's count may have gone down during the last year. I think I will call about this on Monday. Until then....I will be taking little shots each night at 8:00 pm...what we won't go through for a little baby!!!

Well little Baby...wherever you are. It is Easter, 2001. I hope that you will decide to join us for Easter 2002! Today I am 3 days past ovulation...and who knows, you could already be on your way to coming into our lives. I can only hope...because we can't wait! Happy Easter Baby-to-Be! Love, Mom

Once Again....a new month begins

Well, here we are again, no closer to pregnancy...but just a step closer to giving up. I don't know if I ever could give up....but it is a little disheartening to go through this month after month. Well, April begins a new month with a new cycle underway. We are not using Clomid (as we have none left) so it is au natural this cycle.
