First Tooth at 3 1/2 Months!

Wow...we can't believe this. Little Baby Jack has been fussy for the last couple of days. He was neither eating or napping well. He has been chewing on his hand a lot and puts anything he picks up into his mouth...which should have been a clue to me that he was teething....but I figured he was way too young! He won't be four months old until late next week!

Then this morning, I was cleaning his little gums with a washcloth...and he said "ahhhh". When he did that, I thought I saw something in there...and sure enough...his bottom left front tooth is already poking through!

I can hardly believe that he is getting his first tooth already. It is exciting because it means he is really growing up and will soon be doing so many new things. It is sad in a way too, as it means that he is growing up and will soon be doing new things. In a way, I wish he could be my tiny baby forever. It brings tears to my eyes that this is all happening so fast. He took so long to get here...I wish he would hang around and be a baby a little longer. I love him with my whole heart.

One Year Ago Today......

I can hardly believe that exactly one year ago today...I got a positive pregnancy test. I can hardly believe that little Baby Jack was just a little ball of cells a year ago. Now he is smiling at his Mommy (he has a darling little crooked smile that he shares only with his Mommy )

He is so special and precious and he is the love of my life. I can't believe this wonderful ride began just one year ago. Thank you God for our precious gift.

Three Months Old, "Off the Charts," and First Modelling Job!

Little Jack is the love of our lives. He turned three months old two days ago. He now smiles when he sees people he recognizes and he giggles and wants to be held all of the time! He does not nap well any longer (we struggle to get him to stay in his crib and rest). He wants to be awake and with people all of the time.

Paul took him to the pediatrician to be weighed on his three month birthday, and he weighed exactly 17lbs. He is now off the growth charts! (Although he grew much slower during the last two weeks than he had been prior to that).
We are continuing with his physical therapy daily (we have to stretch his neck/head to the right and hold there it several times a day) as he continues to tilt his head to one side.

His Nana (who lives with us) is on a cruise this week, so he has been without her company for several days already and I think he misses that interaction.

We had his three month old pictures taken last weekend...and oh my gosh...they are the most beautiful pictures of a baby I have ever seen! (I am biased of course!) I am going to add them to his website today...but I am attaching one below. He is such a cutie...I am the luckiest person in the world to have such a cute and sweet baby. Sometimes, I feel like I don't deserve him.

His modeling agency called and he has a job tomorrow at 10:30 am. I am going to take a 1/2 personal day to be there....I can't wait to see what he will be doing. I hope he behaves.
