Bad News....things have changed...

Well, upon my request our RE performed another SA (this was the third...with the first two showing counts of 5-6 million per ml for a total of 30-36 million sperm per sample). I got the call and Paul's numbers were less than 1 million...he only had 700,000 per ml with 48% forward progression. The nurse told me that if this SA is an indicator of what his counts are now....about the only way we can get pregnant is through IVF and potentially only if we do ICSI. This news is devastating to us both. No wonder we haven't gotten pregnant yet! We are heartbroken and don't know what to do. We will have another SA done in a couple of weeks and then figure out what to do next.
