| Time sure flies when you have an adorable baby who means the world to you! Jack is growing like a weed and is becoming a real "little person." He smiles at people and loves to be held and giggles hard when tickled. He loves to listen to people talking and recognizes his Mommy, Daddy, Nana and even his Aunt Jana. He holds things in his hands well now...and is starting control his movement of objects much better (i.e., he can get things into his mouth with more control). He can sit up with just a bit of support for several seconds before slumping forward. He loves to grab on to your hands as you help him pull up into a standing position. He can hold himself in a standing position for a few seconds if we hold his hands for balance. But it is his expressions that are really changing....he seems to really be looking into your eyes with feeling now. Jack was baptized on May 25. His godparents Barb Belville & Steve Clark were wonderful and he was showered with love. He did so well at the baptism...never even whimpered. He looked absolutely adorable in his white outfit. Jack got his second bottom tooth on June 5. Now he has two little teeth. He had his four-month pediatrician visit on June 3. He weighed 19lbs. 12 oz (off the charts) and was 27 3/4 in long (off the charts) and his head measured 44cm (90th %). He is a BIG boy. Not fat or chubby at all....he is LONGER than he is heavy. I hope he will be tall. We are already thinking about schools for Jack. Should we move to a great school district, send him to a catholic school, or to a very expensive private school (the Academy)??? It is so hard to figure out what will be best for him within the limits of what we can afford. I know we have time, but it is something we have to start thinking about. Daddy and I have been having a rough time. There is not time for "us" any longer it seems. It seems we are arguing all of the time and that is not good for Jack to be around. I so want him to grow up in a loving household without having to see his parents constantly snapping and bickering. I don't know what to do to stop it. I am just as at fault (if not more) than Paul....but we can't seem to stop it. We both love our baby boy so much...we have to figure out a way to relieve our stress without picking on each other. |
