I Will Always Rembember This Christmas....

I am so filled with love an happiness this Christmas. Jack is almost 6 and he is beside himself with excitement. Katie doesn't really understand the whole concept of Christmas...but knows that it is something good and is excited too.

Both Jack and Katie visited Santa. We got an invitation (for the third year) to the Santa in the Park in Upper Arlignton. It was so nice. The kids were welcomed into the shelter house by Rudolph & Frosty...and there were all sorts of crafts for them to do while we waited for our turn to see Santa. There was popcorn and cookies, and snacks too. We took pictures...then when they called our names we took a coach to Santa's cottage. We filled out an insurance form that asked for a lot of info about each child. When Santa knew Jack's name and told him that he had been talking to Mrs. Catalano (his Kindergarten teacher) Jack looked at him in surprise. He also asked Jack to talk to Zoro (his chihuahua) this year...because last year Zoro growled at him. It was soooo wonderful! When Sanata asked Katie what she wanted....she just looked straight ahead (in that sort of dazed way) and said "toys". She was pretty star-struck too.

Jack has been talking about Christams and waiting for this day to come for months. He participated in an Arts Camp last weekend...and he put on a show with singing and dancing...it was really cute. His class sang "Must be Santa."

So after weeks of talking about it and waiting for it...Christams Eve is here. Jack cannot contain his excitement. We went out grocery shopping for Christmas dinner items and for cookie ingredients. Then we got home and baked cookies...chocolate chip with chocolate and pepermint chips, Giongerbread & cut-outs. We have had the traditional Christmas shows on all day....and to be honest with you...I am about as excited as Jack!

I am so happy with my family. I feel so warm and content inside. I love them all so much. Thank you God for the most precious Christmas Gift of all.

Merry Christmas!
