Cycle Day 10--Ultrasound & Blood Work Results So Far.

It is cycle day 10....I was on 150mg of Clomid cd 2-5 and started Fertinex/Repronex (3 amps of each per day) on cd 6. My first ultrasound (cd 7) showed a number of very small follies and I had an E2 level of 117. Today, my ultrasound showed at least 4 follicles from 9-12 mm on each ovary as well as some smaller ones. Not bad. My E2 level was 523!!! That is even higher than last time (my best cycle) and it is one day earlier than I was tested last time!!! Yay!!! My nurse said that we may be retrieving as early as Tuesday or Wednesday (cd 15-16)....I don't believe it. I develop my follicles very slowly. It has been cd 17-18 before I usually retrieve in the past....but we will see. I have totally quit smoking this time (I really believe that that may be the problem all along) and I have been drinking 1 entire gallon of water every day this cycle. That my be helping as well. I know that the month that we got pregnant on our own, I was drinking (for the first time in my life) 1 gallon of water a day.....so we will see.
